The Day It All Changed..
My "A Ha" Moment
In September 2021, when my daughter was born, it was like life smacked me on the side of the face.
I was a wife who immediately regretted all the time missed with my husband before we had children;
I was a once social butterfly, now isolated at home with a newborn.
I was a burnt-out HR leader who loved my job and the people I worked with, but was cringing at the thought of having to go back to my crazy work schedule.
I was STUCK. I was LOST.
It was then and there, that I knew;
The LIFE I WAS LIVING was NOT SUSTAINABLE for the LIFE I WANTED to BUILD.
I NEEDED CHANGE. I NEEDED SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
and it was on ME to make it happen.
So I WENT FOR IT and NEVER LOOKED BACK.
Build to Become Co. was founded to Influence; to Inspire; and to Impact.
It’s time to BUILD. It’s time to BECOME. It’s TIME to P.I.V.O.T.

I have spent the last 10+ years as a corporate HR leader, partnering with countless business leaders, C-suite executives and employees at all levels. Showing up to work every day with a smile on my face, critical thinking mindset, a can-do-will-do attitude, and the ability to create a positive impact in the workplace. But what many, other than my family and close friends didn’t know, was that I was struggling, significantly, behind the scenes with my mental health.
I was a YES person to ALL, and never to ME and the companies I was working for were always wanting more.
It was then, when I pregnant with my first child, barely surviving my 12+ hour workdays, that my life changed.
I went from BURNOUT to BREAKTHROUGH by believing in myself, setting boundaries, and taking bold action; spending this past year Building to Become my most authentic, healthiest and happiest self!
